We caught up with some of our favorite backpack-wearing canine customers to find out.
What do you keep in your bag?
I love to carry my favorite greenie treats, the balls my humans throw for me, snacks, more snacks, my poopy bags, and on hot days - my ice cold corona chew toy (with a slice of lime, of course).
Where do you like to wear your bag?
I wear it to the airport and on my really long walks. I like to to sport it when I travel to Brooklyn or Queens from Manhattan. You might spot me around Harlem wearing my backpack too!
How do people react when they see you in your backpack?
Once I was walking around Chelsea with my backpack on, and a large group of tourists all took turns snapping photos with me. They were so excited that they took photos carrying me, on the steps with me, group photos with me, and even photos with them sitting on the ground with me! People love my backpack!
Where do you like to wear your bag?
What do you keep in your bag?
Obviously I like to keep treats (the most important thing in my bag!), a ball to play fetch, a collapsible dish for food or water (very necessary on long walks!), edible bubbles (because why not! It’s so fun to stop, play & poop bubbles), a squeaky toy (just incase I want to lounge & play), poop bags (another must for anywhere we go) & an article of clothing just in case of a sudden change in weather.

I like carrying my favorite treats, of course! A girl can't function without some munchies. I also carry my favorite toy so I can play with it when watching humans just isn't cutting it. Poop bags are also essential because I like to clean up after myself, and I never forget my super awesome on-the-go bowl that keeps me hydrated and refreshed at all times!
How do people react when they see you wearing your bag?
What do you keep in your bag?
1. Balls, because I never know when my pawrents are going to let me off leash to play. I also leave room in my bag for any toys that I find in Central Park!
2. Treats, because why not? Anytime is a good time for a snack.
3. Paw Balm! NYC can sometimes make my pads dry, so I always carry it to keep my paws soft and smooth. Especially after all the digging in Central Park.
4. Dry Shampoo, I like to stay looking fresh so I bring it because I never know what I’m doing. I literally never know until my pawrents walk me there!
5. My ID, so I can get into all the fun puppy play times.
6. My bandana, to take me from day to night. You never know who you're gonna meet!
How do people react when they see you in your backpack?
II constantly get stopped and told how cute I am when I’m wearing my pack. I just look at them and tell them, “I’m just out here living my best life.”
Where do you like to wear your backpack?
Central Park and the Ramble trails, Riverside, and The Pier - basically everywhere I go! I look so good in it, and it matches my collar. It’s also good for the long car rides to my summer house, since I can keep all of my necessities in my bag for easy access. Fashion meets function!
